Born in Istanbul, Turkey, and based in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, Julia Tavit is a concert pianist whose artistic journey brings together international performance experience, a broad classical repertoire, and a curiosity for diverse musical traditions.

Julia holds both a bachelor's and a master's degree from Codarts University of the Arts in Rotterdam. Between 2020 and 2021, she further developed her artistry at the Schola Cantorum in Paris, studying under the guidance of renowned pianist Philippe Entremont.

Her musical journey has taken her to internationally renowned venues, including Carnegie Hall in New York, the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, and De Doelen in Rotterdam.

Her artistic perspective is shaped by both her classical training and her multicultural background. While rooted in Western classical music, she draws inspiration from a wide range of musical influences, including Ottoman and Armenian traditions. This openness to different musical worlds enriches her artistic expression without defining the boundaries of her repertoire.

Beyond the concert stage, Julia is the founder of Julia Art Center, where she extends her passion for music into artistic education and development. Through her work as both a performer and an educator, she is committed to sharing music with new audiences and encouraging the next generation of musicians.
